Not long after the Dole Food Company took over as sponsor of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room attraction in the late 1970’s, they developed a formula for a pineapple-flavored treat which they named Dole Whip. Once you’ve tasted it, it’s easy to understand why it was an instant hit with children and adults alike. For those of us who operate The Dole Whip Guy tiki trailer, what started as a craving years ago soon turned into something much more than that – it began to feel more like an addiction!
Through the years, we found ourselves going to Disneyland more frequently: partly for the overall fun of it, but also because we knew we’d be able to enjoy Dole Whip, our favorite frozen confection. From time to time we’d actually find an eatery outside of Disneyland that served Dole Whip, but those instances were too few and far between. Eventually we decided to take matters into our hands by spreading the joy of eating Dole Whip to others. That’s when we pooled our resources and opened our own Dole Whip tiki-hut-on-wheels.
The Dole Whip Guy tiki trailer travels all over southern California, making Dole Whip available to a large audience of Dole Whip aficionados. In addition to appearing at various parks and other locations, our tiki trailer can be booked for corporate events, family celebrations, and at other public functions and locations.
Dole Whip: “Sunshine In A Cup”
Pineapple flavored Dole Whip is a fat-free, dairy-free, gluten-free soft serve frosty confection. First introduced at Walt Disney theme parks in the 1980’s, its popularity was quick to spread across North America and the rest of the world. Low in calories, Dole Whip contains no cholesterol and is suitable for a vegan diet.
Lucky for all of us, we no longer have to pay the price of a Disneyland admission ticket in order to enjoy the sweet and tangy taste of pineapple Dole Whip. The Dole Whip Guy tiki trailer travels throughout southern California in order to deliver Dole Whip straight to you. The Dole Whip Guy is proud to serve it in a variety of ways: piled high in a cup by itself, swimming in a pineapple juice float, or fully loaded in its own pineapple.
